EWTS Ozone Systems: Corona-Discharge & UV Generators: FAQs

Corona-Discharge Ozone Generators

• Highest Output - great for disinfection or severe water conditions.
• Ozone Output 1 gram per hour to up to 40 pounds per day
• Dry air or oxygen feed gas required for high output

Ultraviolet Ozone Generators

• Lower output - great for aeration, odor reduction or oxidation.
• Ozone output 1.5 to 3 grams an hour
• No air dryer required

Ultraviolet Ozone Generators produce lower concentrations of ozone in air. Use these systems for aerating storage tanks, removing mild odors and when less oxidizing power is required.

Corona-Discharge Ozone Generators produce higher concentrated levels of ozone in air. Use these systems when higher flow rates and more oxidizing power is required.
